COVID PATRON PROTOCOLS/INFORMATION
The Strand Theater requires patrons to present one of the following for entry to any Theater events:
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination for all patrons over 12 years of age with corresponding photo identification for those over 18 years of age.
Proof of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or rapid antigen) administered by a medical professional or pharmacy, taken within 72 hours of door time, with Lab/Test result printed clearly showing the name, date and time. In addition, corresponding photo identification is required with test results.
“At-home” rapid tests are not accepted.
“Full Vaccination” means the final dose of a UD FDA approved vaccine (Moderna, Pfizer, J&J, AstraZeneca) completed at least two weeks prior. Acceptable vaccination documentation may be a physical copy of a COVID-19 card, a digital photo, Docket or Excelsior. Photo identification of the card holder is required.
MASK UPDATE – With the new concerns regarding the Omicron variant, The Strand will continue to require patrons over the age of two to remain masked during performances, except when actively eating and drinking. This applies to all patrons, staff, volunteers, crew and artists (except while performing).
Failure to follow these guidelines will result in denial of entry from the theater without a refund.
Improved ventilation. We have upgraded the ventilation and scrubbers at The Strand to a 100% fresh air system. This means we are constantly pulling air from outside when heating and cooling our building, making The Strand a safe environment.
Cleaning – All public areas and common touch points are cleaned on a regular basis. Hand sanitizers are stationed throughout the venue.
This is an open-ended policy subject to change based on recommendations from the State of New Jersey, the CDC, local boards of health and other regulations.
